Duffy Diet Coke Advert Analysis
The advert was made to tell young women that they should take 5 minutes from their hectic lives and drink Diet Coke. Duffy is used because she is young and got a bright future for her career. This makes her ideal for the ad because there is so ch pressure on her, but when she drinks Diet Coke she goes into her own little stress-free world, where there is no pressure or expectation. Another technique used is celebrity endorsement. Also in the ad you see other women smiling and joining in singing with Duffy. Another motto used is about being you. At the end of the advert you see "Hello You" which is saying that when you drink Diet Coke it is like a better and new you. Duffy also sings "I just got to be me" which she can only be herself when she drinks Diet Coke.
