Lucozade The Edge

here on TellyAds
Today we watched the advert of Lucozade's longest running campaign "The Edge".  In the ad it showed that if you drink Lucozade then you will get the edge on your competition and you will win what you are doing. Lucozade are also very clever because they use an italic font to try and make the Lucozade bottle look faster and better to convince you that Lucozade is 'the edge' between winning and losing.
'The Edge' is the difference between winning and losing

I used TellyAds vintage to watch the ad 'Lucozade Aids Recovery' campaign. Lucozade is represented in the ad as it claims that it offers a product that helps cure ill children. This advert works by making the mother guilty because if she dosen't buy Lucozade you don't care about your child.

  1. You show understanding of what you have seen and discussed in class and now need to develop your writing much more fully. Think of any media text as if it were a something you could discuss in a frame by frame analysis, rather than general comments that apply to the whole. So, for example, the shot of the boy looking longingly out of the window at his friends playing in his garden makes all parents feel sad and guilty that they are responsible for buying Lucozade to aid his speedy recovery.
